Mike: My weekends used to start like that, me with no plans than someone comes along with a crazy adventure. Not so much now. Since my unemployment, everyday might as well be a weekend, I no longer have the concept of linear time.

James: It’s surprisingly hard to write a road trip storyline when you’ve never firmly established where the characters normally live.

Mike: Man, Beck better get laid by a heterosexual female soon or else he’ll never live that down. While drawing today’s page I had a vision of what it would be like if our webcomic had “shipper” fans. It was horrifying in every way possible, but the ad revenue was overwhelming… Quick, James! Write some “will they, won’t they” relationships that we can milk for years!
